Fiddle Dee Dee...

I'm late... I'm late... I did not manage to finish my February Ornie... I've been sitting on the sofa most of the afternoon and evening watching my Beauty and the Beast DVD's.. all five cats curled up with me and stitching like crazy... Alas, I'm almost finished, but my eyes are crossing so I think I'm calling it a night as it's midnight and the 1st of March anyway... So, technically it's already a day late... :-(

And... Tomorrow is another day... and I don't have that much more to stitch and it will be finished... Then I can start on The Chocolate Shoppe... :-) I know the SAL day is supposed to be Wednesday's but I had to stitch the ornament today... thus, I had to put it off yet another day...

I wish I had been more productive the last two days... I know I've been off work, and should have so much accomplished... sadly enough I don't know where the time has gone and I just haven't felt well... I'm so tired, my RA is being a pain and my headache is back... not as bad as it was a few weeks ago, but it's there and that's enough to throw me out of whack... I don't know if it's stress or sinus... Actually, I think it's both, but who am I to say? lol Anyway, I'm not complaining... I'm still off work... I'm alive and I'm stitching... Wooo Hoooo

Someone tell me tomorrow isn't Thursday... the week is flying by and I do wish it would slow down a wee bit. I've got an appointment to get my hair coloured tomorrow afternoon at 2:00... and quite frankly I just can't be bothered! However, I look a fright as my silver roots are glowing and against the red... hmmm... you get the picture... So, I imagine I had better muster the energy to go... Besides, I was thinking on getting it cut and styled into something a wee bit more fashionable... Now that'd be chocolate! I can see me now... it's 4:00 AM in the morning and my alarm has just gone off... I struggle out of bed... stumble blindly into the kitchen and pour a hot, steaming mug of life support... gulp it down and pour another... slowly savour the rich aroma as I muster the energy to make it to the shower... Oh, maybe I'll have just one more cup... Ah at last... a hot shower and I'm almost awake... By this time, I'm pushing it... as it's 5:00 or just a wee bit after... So, I quickly paint on my face and dry my hair... Wow... it's 5:30 or 5:35 by now... and I have to be at work at 6:00... Style my hair? Surely you jest? lol

Here's a piccy of my progress on The Prairie Schooler's Winter Ornament from the JCS Ornament Issue 2006... I'm stitching it on the recommended 32ct Lambswool Linen with DMC threads...

I just have the fence, the rest of the greenery, the door, windows, the chimneys and smoke and the snow to stitch and I'll be finished... so tune in tomorrow... same bat time... same bat channel! lol

Thank you all for stopping by... Your visits and lovely, thoughtful comments brighten my days! :-)

Until next time... Love in Stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments... Advil Liqui-Gels, my cats, my stitching and my dear friends...

Stitching Bloggers Question ???

I'm running a wee bit behind on my SBQ as this is last week's question... :-) Anyway...

Last Week's SBQ was suggested by Kathryn ...

What is the smallest count fabric you have ever used? Did you stitch over one? Conversely, what is the largest count fabric you have ever used?

I love linen... plain and simple... The smallest count linen I have used is 36ct... my eye-sight just will not allow me to go any smaller than that... ;-) I prefer 28ct and 32ct linen... I have stitched over one on 28ct and 32ct... 28ct over one is tolerable, however 32ct can be a wee bit trying for my eyes... ;-)

The largest count fabric I have stitched on would be 11ct and that was on a pillow by Pine Mountain Designs... They come as kits with the pillow cover already made and you just stitch your design and tuck your pillow in the fabric or wrap it around the pillow and button it up... et cetera... and Voila... no sewing required at all! ;-) Anyway, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about, as my description of it sounds rather weird! lol And I think they make lovely gifts... ;-)

Thank you all for visiting... Your kind and lovely thoughts fill my days with sunshine...

Until next time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments, sunshine and lazy days...

The Stash Faery strikes again...

Wooo Hoooo... I've got eight entire days off... now whatever shall I do with myself! ;-) My plans are to do absolutely nothing but stitch and watch movies, read, blog, catch up with my emails and relax... And today was an excellent start... when I wasn't wandering about the house in a daze, still not daring to believe I don't have to work this week, I stitched a wee bit and plundered through all my stash wondering what to stitch next... ;-) piddled about on the computer, I had loads of photos to scan and it took forever... and I watched or rather listened to The Academy Awards whilst scanning... I must admit it was glorious doing nothing... ;-)

New Snow is coming along nicely... not as much progress as I would like, but I'm getting there. We were busy the last two days at work so I didn't get to stich as much as I would have liked and on days I'm working I do not have time to stitch in the evenings... so today was the only real time I've had to stitch... I wonder if I should dare say I may even finish it this week... lol I've got to stitch my JCS ornament for this month... Yes, I know I've only got three days left, so tomorrow I'll be starting on The Prairie Schooler's Winter Ornament from the JCS Ornament Issue 2006... And I also want to join in on The Chocolate Shoppe SAL at the LHN and CCN stitching group... The Stash Faery surprised me with the chart, a fat quarter of Vintage Country Mocha Cashel Linen and the threads on Friday... so, all I have to do is start... ;-)

Little House Needleworks...

Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe

And I leave you with a piccy of New Snow by Glendon Place... A lot of you have raved about the fabric... and it is gorgeous... I'm stitching it on the recommended fabric which is Jazz Cashel Linen by Picture This Plus... the scans really don't do it justice... :-)

Thank you all for stopping by... your kind thoughts and comments are sparkling rays of sunshine in my days... :-)

Until new time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments, the stash faery and blessed days off...

Frogs and Princes...

You know, when you are off for a couple of days you think... Yes! Finally, I can get something accomplished... Not!

It all stared yesterday morning when I decided to call my Internet provider and make sure we had the fastest DSL connection they offer around here... I seemed to vaguely remember reading something from them about a faster connection now offered in my neck of the wilderness... So, I thought.... Hmmmm... Now I could certainly get into flying a wee bit faster through cyberspace... Just think of the time it would save! Brilliant idea... or so I thought...

Nope... we did not have the fastest connection... So, I of course asked the nice lady to please upgrade our service... Mistake... Within five minutes of our conversation, I had no Internet connection... So... computer savvy lady that I am, I tried everything I could think of before calling Tech Support, just in case it was a malfunction on my end... It was not, and Tech Support didn't seem so Technical savvy at all... My *problem* was given a ticket and shuffled on to an engineer in the field with the assurance that my Internet would be up and running later that day... Hmmmm... Sounds promising doesn't it?

Well, the day progressed and still no Internet... so I called back and was shuffled around a bit and finally told the *ticket* was *out there* and someone would fix my problem by the end of the day... Hmmm I was beginning to wonder, nonetheless, I spent the time stitching and piddling about the house... Finally, it's 8:00 in the evening and still no Internet... By this time, I was getting a wee bit nervous, to say the least... So, once again I braved the Tech Support line and this time I was told it would most likely be first thing in the morning before an engineer got to my *ticket*... Disappointed that there would be no blogging nor emails for me... I decided I would stitch for a while longer and have an early night...

Morning dawned bright and sunny and I eagerly grabbed a cup of coffee before rushing in to check on my computer... alas... still no Internet... By this time, I was really beginning to worry... So, yet again I braved the Tech Support line and the nice lady told me not to worry... the engineers would get to my *ticket* today for sure! I was not impressed! So, I cleaned up the house a wee bit and did some laundry... Still no Internet... Deciding to make the best of my time I got out my stitching and settled down to watch*Beowulf and Grendel* and stitch for a while... I enjoyed the film and I was so pleased with all the stitching I had accomplished in the last two days... So, in fairly good humour, I braved the Tech Support line yet again... This time I was told the *engineer* had closed my ticket as they had no access to homeowner... No access! But I was here all day... they did not knock upon my door... nor did they ring my house.... and furthermore I had been told the problem was on their end, so why should they need access to homeowner??? Now my *ticket* would have to be re-opened and it would most likely be tomorrow before they got to it, however the nice gentleman did advise he was expediting my order and adding several notes to it... Hmmmm I was not amused in the least... Nonetheless, I still had hope and settled down with my stitching, a hot cup of coffee, a cat or two and my new Beauty and the Beast Season One DVD's... I was sure a nice dose of a few of my favourite things would help get me through this most trying time... ;-)

That's when the frog decided to show his handsome green face... alas, most of my stitching from the last two days had to be frogged!!!! Oh, horrors! Fuming, I decided to call Tech Support again... after all it was all their fault the frog decided to hop onto my lily pad and I was not going to take this sitting down! I was nice, yet firm and before long I had a supervisor on the line and he in turn got in touch with a Senior Tech, who solved my Internet problem with the touch of a few keys... Humph! So much for engineers in the field! Needless to say... he was a Prince among computer techs... A genius in the world of software engineering... A beacon in the darkness of cyberspace.... I finally had my Internet service back... I could Blog... go blinkie hunting... read emails... browse stitching shoppes... Oh, Joy, Rapture... but wait... I'm forgetting something...

Alas... the frog... my mind would not rest until I got rid of him for good... So, I resisted the hypnotic call of cyberspace and settled back down with Beauty and the Beast, my stitching and that dratted green frog... I think I finally managed to send him packing back to his own lily pad and managed to re-stitch about half of what I had stitched in the past two days... Yet through it all I have done no blogging, read no emails, done no window stitching shoppe shopping... nor anything else of cyberspace interest...

However, I will prevail... tomorrow is another day and as long as that dratted green frog stays on his own lily pad, I'll be fine... As for Princes... hmmmmm that's another story and I'm not referring to the Computer Tech either... ;-)

I leave you with a scan of my frogged *New Snow by Glendon Place*... Hopefully, I'll have more to show for my stitching efforts next time... ;-)

Thank you all for stopping by... Your kind and thoughtful words brighten my days and help chase away the froggy blues... :-)

Until next time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments and my own handsome prince...

Pay It Forward...

I've been contemplating joining in on this for a while now, so when Linda Mc posted her Pay It Forward... I answered the call...

The first five people to respond to this post (via the comments section) will get some form of needlework made by me. After you comment, please email me your snail mail address, you'll find my email addy in my profile... I’m going with a 365 day deadline, but will try to get the items out much sooner than that! There is a catch, of course, the way this works is that if you sign up, you have to blog this as well and continue the sharing of your needlework with five other stitchers...

The stitched piece is taken from Ackworth Friendship book... one of the new Nashville Market releases from With My Needle... needless to say, it is on my Wish List...

Thanks for stopping by... your kind thoughts are rays of sunshine in my days...

Until next time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments and stitching friends...

Stitching Bloggers Question...

This week's SBQ is:

Do you like to buy "chartpacks" that include charms, buttons, and/or beads or do you prefer to gather all materials yourself?

I usually prefer to buy the charts and gather the materials seperately... as I prefer entire skeins of thread... just to be on the safe side... ;-) However, if it's something like a Victoria Sampler chart, etc... I might go ahead and order the chartpack... just depends... lol

Having said that... usually when I order from my favourite Shoppe, Drema at Needlecraft Corner, I go ahead and ask her to add all the threads and buttons for the charts I'm ordering and I usually pick out my fabric then... though not always... So, it's like a chartpack, only better! lol And with a lot of designs, Drema puts all the items together in a *bundle* and offers a special price on it... i.e. The Bent Creek Snapperland Series and Blackbird Designs Loosefeathers... et cetera... This is always nice and I usually go ahead and purchase the bundle... :-)

If I had an LNS nearby, I would love to go and pick out everything in person... however, as I do not, I rely on Drema's judgement and what I can see from photos on websites and go from there... and usually it works out perfectly! ;-)

Thanks for dropping in and sharing your thoughts... your visits brighten my days...

Until next time... Love in Stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments and Needlework Shoppes...

Sleepless at the North Pole...

...so I have been visiting blogs and drooling over everyone's lovely finishes and WIP's and trying to think warm, *roaring fire in a fireplace* thoughts... ;-) *thus far, the visualization is not proving effective... ;-)*

It's Baltic here and I think I am slowly freezing... even though I am wrapped up like I'm trekking through snow drifts at the North Pole... lol My hands are like ice as this room is the coldest in the house and my coffee will not stay hot in my mug... which is most annoying as I detest cold coffee... unless it's a Frappuccino of course and then it's okay! Yeah, weird, I know... ;-)

I haven't stitched a lot this week and I can tell as I'm beginning to get a wee bit stressed about it... Hopefully, I'll make up for it tomorrow as I plan to make a lot of progress with *New Snow*... Thus far, I've been plodding along much akin to the tortoise... and I'll soon have to stop working on it so I can stitch my ornament for the JCS Monthly Ornie SAL... This month we're stitching The Prairie Schooler's Winter Ornament... It's a beautiful piece and hopefully will stitch up quickly... :-)

As promised, I'm sharing a photo of my wee bit of progress on *New Snow*... I'm stitching it on Jazz Picture This Plus Cashel Linen with Wilflowers, Treasure Braid and DMC threads...

Thank you all for visiting... Your kind and lovely thoughts are a constant source of sunshine and inspiration...

Until next time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments, roaring fires in the fireplace and hot coffee...

Happy Valentine's Day...

I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day... with lots of love, chocolate, flowers, sparkly things and of course STASH! ;-) I had to work today... and haven't had much time to catch up with everyone's blog or my emails... Will have to try and catch up tomorrow night and Friday... I still haven't had a chance to scan my progress on *New Snow*... I did get to work on it a wee bit at work today... so, I'm making some progress and I'll have a progress scan to share soon... :-)

I didn't get to finish the wee Valentine piece I was working on... and I so wanted to post something Valentiney... so I'm going to share an older piece I stitched... which is still unframed, mind you! I really must start having some of my finishes framed now! :-)

This is Valentine Bird by Heart In Hand... I changed Valentine to Lovebird... just because... ;-) and I stitched it on Dusky Pink Belfast Linen with GAST and WDW threads... I really love the colours in this one and hopefully will have it framed soon so I can hang it in my bedroom...

I'm away to bed now, as 4:00 AM will be here all too soon... Tootles for now and thank you all for visiting... Your lovely comments, like sunshine, brighten my days... :-)

Until next time... Love in stitches...

Me? Weird? Surely you jest... ;-)

Oh, no... I've been tagged by Linda Mc... Actually, I was tagged several days ago and just never got around to posting my weirdness... Alas, I can put it off no longer and must at last reveal six weird things about me... Hmmm... I'm going to have to ponder this for a while as I don't think I'm weird a'tall! lol *sigh* Sadly enough, The truth is out there...

1... Well, since I can't think of anything just now... I'll start with stitching... As I mentioned in a previous post... I'm a one project at a time stitcher... Which I guess is sort of weird considering most of you all have lots of projects going and you stitch on a rotation... However, I have tried the rotation theory and it just doesn't seem to work for me... I always end up stitching on one project until I finish it. Of course, there are a few exceptions... I will stop working on something long enough to stitch the monthly ornament for my stitching group or if I've got an exchange due, or a last minute gift to stitch... But most of the time, I just work on one project at the time... {And Yes, I am still sitting in the corner in penance... } ;-)

2... I'm a coffee drinker! ;-) Yeah, I know that in itself is not too terribly weird... However, I drink coffee all day, and all night... and I suppose the weird part is that I take a cup of coffee to bed with me... which I don't think is weird at all... however, I have been told it's not the Norm... so... I suppose it's weird... lol
*** Heidi asked if I drink decaf... so I thought I'd better add this wee bit... nope, No decaf... it must have caffine or I just will not drink it! lol My absolute fave coffee is a Starbucks Venti Triple {three shots of espresso} Irish Creame Latte ;-) ***

{Gee... you mean I've got four more to go.... this is most difficult! lol }

3... I talk to my cats all the time... and yes, they do talk back! ;-) I tend to talk to myself at times... and when I'm nervous I tend to ramble... in fact, come to think of it, sometimes I ramble quite a bit... ;-)

4... I don't like to go anywhere by myself... I will if I have to, I just don't like to... which is weird I suppose as I don't mind being by myself... in fact, I enjoy it at times, especially if I need a wee bit of peace and quiet... I guess I just don't like crowds... lol Who knows?

5... I don't like to watch sit-coms, or reality shows, or talk shows... I usually don't like to watch anything unless it has some sort of plot... drama, mystery, et cetera... I prefer films... Even when I was a kid I would not watch a cartoon unless it had a plot... lol And usually, I have to have my stitching with me while I'm watching TV... even if I end up watching the film, et cetera rather than stitching... I just have to have it there with me... *just in case!* lol Alas, if it's something that draws me in... I don't get any stitching done a'tall!

Wooo Hooo... I'm at number 6 already... lol

6... I tend to know things before they happen...

Well, that's six things about me that most people find weird... me? I just think I'm fairly normal! lol

Now I have to tag six people... and they in turn have to tag six people... And most of you have most likely already been tagged... Oh well... I'll try and find six who have not been tagged and if not... I'm just going to tag you again! lol

Heidi ... Juls ... Cheryl ... Cindy ... Sally ... Karen

*** Yes, I know you all have already been tagged... but I just can't find anyone who reads my blog who has not been tagged... Oh well... late as usual! If anyone reading this has not been tagged and would like to be so... please, consider yourself tagged on my behalf! :-) ***

I didn't get a chance to post my progress on New Snow today... and I started a wee something special I found on Deborah's blog I want to finish for Valentine's Day... I just hope I get it finished in time... :-)

Thank you all for visiting... your kind words and thoughts help chase away the clouds... :-)

Until next time... Love in Stitches...

Inside the room of my Soul...

What Your Soul Really Looks Like

You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort.

You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. Your feet may be on the ground, but your head is in the clouds.

You believe that people see you for how you are, not how you look. But deep down, you know that's not exactly true.

Your near future is calm, relaxing, and pretty much what you want. And it's something you've been anticipating for a while now.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

The Stash Faery... and other meanderings...

Still no progress piccy on *New Snow*... I have stitched a bit on it... the big tree in the background is done and part of the wee background village... just have not had a chance to scan it yet... It's my long weekend at work... so I have been tired... Hopefully, I'll have time to scan it tomorrow night... if not then I'll surely get to it when I'm off on Monday... :-)
Oh, Joy, Rapture... The Stash Faery left me some lovely new stash in the post on Thursday... so I thought I'd share... ;-) Whenever I'm feeling really blue, I tend to go on a stash buying binge... which come to think of it... I've done quite a lot of that of late... lol Now, I really must get a digital camera sometime soon... It would make life soooo much easier, then I could just arange everything in a nice lovely *still* and snap a shot and Voila! Oh, well...

Beatrix Potter's Quaker Sampler by Needleprint

The Old West by Little House Needleworks

Winter Wonderland by Little House Needleworks

Valentine Row by Bent Creek

My Valentine by Blackbird Designs

Prancer by The Knotted Tree

Dasher by The Knotted Tree

The Monkey Sampler by Midsummer Night Designs

Winter Sampler by Waxing Moon Designs

Winter Kisses by Imaginating

I also got the threads for The Old West by LHN, Winter Wonderland by LHN, Valentine Row by BC, My Valentine by BBD and The Monkey Sampler by Midsummer Night Designs. I haven't decided what fabric I'll use for The Old West... the pattern suggests Vintage Examplar by Lakeside Linens and I don't have any and Drema did not have any in stock... I have quite a bit of Vintage Country Mocha which is quite similar to Vintage Examplar... So, I may just use that... Or I may just wait and order some... it would be a good excuse to order a fat half... as I have been wanting some Lakeside Linen in that colour for a while now... lol

I would also love to start either My Valentine or Valentine Row... I think I'll stitch them both on Vintage Autumn Blush as I have quite a bit of it on hand and Drema says it will look great on that fabby... However, I already have a couple of projects on the go and yes, I know I am weird, but I'm a stitch one project at the time kinda gal... lol Yes, yes... I hear your gasps of horror as you read this... sigh.... {I'll go and sit in the corner in a little while as penance} However, I have tried the rotation theory and it just doesn't seem to work for me... I always end up stitching on one project until I finish it. Of course, there are a few exceptions... I will stop working on something long enough to stitch the monthly ornament for my stitching group or if I've got an exchange due, or a last minute gift to stitch... But most of the time, I just work on one project at the time...

Oh, yes... The Monkey Sampler... I got that one to stitch for my daugher as she loves monkeys... and the saying on it is so cute... *Monkeys steal my underwear at night*... lol Yes, I think it's hilarious and it will make her laugh! I'm going to stitch it on Picture This Plus Moonglow Linen... It's going to look lovely! :-) I've also got House By the Sea by Midsummer Night Designs in my stash... I'm going to stitch it on Moonglow as well... Hopefully, I will get to that one sometime soon... It's going to be lovely, and I'd love to have it finished by the summer! :-)

Ah well... decisions, decisions... I'll just have to ponder it all for a while... and in the meantime... I'll be sitting in the corner stitching on *New Snow*... lol

Thanks for visiting and leaving such lovely comments... your kind and thoughtful words brighten my days... and I could sure use a wee bit of sunshine and laughter in my life just now... :-)

Until next time... Love in Stitches...

A fiery cup of tea... ;-)

I finally finished my wee dragon scissor fob yesterday and I am sooo pleased with how it turned out! :-)

Ta da.... A Spot of Tea by Dragon Dreams...

and here's my wee Blackbird on the back...

I had to have the cording just perfect and kept fussing with it all day Monday and half the day Tuesday at work when we weren't busy! lol I've only made my own cording once before and that was about three years ago, so I had to get the hang of it all over again! lol Now, that I've braved *finishing* again... perhaps I'll get busy and *finish* off all the stitched ornaments and fobs I've got stashed away in my dresser drawers! LOL

I didn't have time to stitch today... :-( Hopefully tomorrow I'll have some time to work on *New Snow* and post a scan of my progress... I'm loving it thus far!

Thank you all for visiting ... your thoughts and kind words are a much needed blessing just now... :-)

Until next time... Love in stitches...

Stitching Retreats...

Stitching Bloggers Question...

Today's Stitching Bloggers Question was created by Danielle and is:

Have you ever been to a stitching retreat?

No, I have not been to a stitching retreat... but I'd love to as I've heard they are loads of fun and so inspirational! What a rare treat to spend a lovely weekend with other stitchers... chatting and sharing our love of stitching! Hopefully, one day ... :-)

Super Bowl Sunday... AKA Harry Potter Sunday... ;-)

Good Grief! Is it Sunday night already? The weekend has flown by as it always does and I have to admit I have accomplished next to nothing... The splitting headache I had on Friday has persisted throughout the weekend... I think it is a minor migraine... and I haven't had a migraine in a while... I am thankful it has not been as bad as in the past... Nonetheless, I have done nothing but lounge about and rest and fall asleep whilst in the middle of things... lol Oh well, at least it has eased up a wee bit tonight... I just hope it's finally deciding to go away as I'm back to work tomorrow and I really don't relish the thought of going to work with a head like this one! lol

As for stitching... I did manage to get my wee dragon fob sewn together this afternoon whilst watching Harry Potter... now all I have to do is add the cording... Oh my! Gasp! Yes, I admitted I have not been watching the Super Bowl... instead I have had a Harry Potter marathon all afternoon and evening... lol My eldest son and my DD are away with friends to watch the Super Bowl and my son said to me earlier, "Momma, only you would have a Harry Potter marathon when practically every one else in America is watching the Super Bowl!" lol

So, no progress pics on *New Snow* as I have not stitched on it since I started it... :-( As soon as I get the cording sewn on to my wee fob I'll get back to *New Snow*... which at this rate will most likely be tomorrow...

I'm away to post a few emails then I'm away to my bed as I can barely keep my eyes open as it is... Thanks to everyone for stopping by and I love all your comments... they bring sunshine and smiles to my days...

Until next time... Love in stitches...

Snow... Ground Hogs and Shadows...

Oh, what a Winter Wonderland it was yesterday morning... sadly, the snow has all but melted now. We got about three inches of snow yesterday, but by Noon it turned to sleet and rain and eventually nothing but rain by mid-afternoon and evening and was melting by then... so, thankfully, I did not have to pull a double at work! :-) However, we were so busy it was unbelievable! We had about 235 calls from 5:00 AM until around 10:00 AM alone... you would not believe the folks running in ditches and running into each other... there weren't enough Officers, Rescue, EMS and Firemen to answer all the calls!!! Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, mostly fender benders and the like. Nonetheless, I was completely worn out and so ready to go home! It felt like I had been there for two days! lol When I got home last night, I ate supper, checked my email, and went to bed with my book and ended up falling asleep in mid-sentence. :-) I'm still tired and I've had a splitting head-ache all day long and aching all over thanks to my Rheumatoid Arthritis so, I have not stitched at all today... :-( However, Tomorrow is another day... as Scarlet would say, and I'm planning on finishing my wee dragon into a fob and stitching some more on *New Snow*! :-)

On another note... they say Phil, the Ground Hog, did not see his shadow today... so, we are supposed to have an early Spring... I for one would like to see some more snow... however, I would rather it be on my days off, as I do not think I would like to go through another day like yesterday anytime soon! ;-)

I'm off to my bed to read for a wee while... I'm loving Eldest thus far... It picked up right where Eragon left off... Hopefully, I can stay awake long enough tonight to read more than a few sentences... I would so love to go and see Eragon at the Cinema... Oh, well... perhaps it's not too late yet and I can persuade one of my kids to go along with me... :-)

Thanks to everyone for dropping by... your lovely comments brighten my days... :-)

Until next time... Love in Stitches...
