I've had a lot on my mind of late and seem to flit about from one thing to another much akin to a buzzing bee in a garden of Spring blossoms... Alas, unlike the busy bee... I fear I have accomplished very little of consequence... I've been off for two days, and I can not tell you where the time went... I am so behind with blogging, emails and my stitching... Thinking back on it, the days seem shrouded in mist... and though I did manage to sleep a bit, I am still tired... Nonetheless, I did get in a few stitches on my new WIP's... not much to show thus far... but it's a beginning... ;-)
Geranium House...
by Country Cottage Needleworks
Stitched on R & R 30ct Iced Cappuccino
with DMC, GAST and Crescent Colour Threads
Spring Has Come by The Prairie Schooler
Stitched on R & R Belfast Cream Brulee
with Crescent Colour Thread Conversions
by Theresa at Shakespeare's Peddler
Now that it's nigh midnight, I'm away to my bed... I'll be rising before the chickens and I do hope the day is not as hectic as the last few days were at work... the weekend was mad! And I was totally exhausted by Sunday night and so thankful it was over...
Heartfelt thanks to you all for visiting and leaving such wonderfully kind and lovely thoughts... akin to brilliant stars in a midnight sky, they twinkle through the mist... ever a constant source of joy and inspiration... :-)
Until next time... Love in Stitches...
I am thankful for precious moments... and dear friends...
Lizzie I hope you got the rest and relaxation you needed even if you feel like you were in a fog. Your WIP looks great!

ReplyDeleteOh, these are BEAUTIFUL WIPs!! I love the colors. :) Don't think of it as stitching slowly, think of it as lingering over their beauty. ;)
ReplyDeleteTwo great new starts, both lovely pieces. Can't wait to see more! Do take care of yourself
ReplyDeleteA Most Noble Pursuit SAL sounds like great fun. It will take a couple of weeks before it arrives though and I want to finish a project first before I start it. xx

Oooh, I love your projects! I know what you mean about all the crazyness - I hope you're able to get some rest!
ReplyDeleteLove the new starts...I was up to about 7am with recovering my blog this am....can't wait to see your progress!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you got two very nice starts. Geranium House will be so pretty. My pattern just came, but I think I'll try to get a couple of my WIP's finished before I start another one.
ReplyDeleteBTW, sent you an email but haven't heard back from you yet (given how busy you've been not surprising). If (and I do say if, LOL) I were to be enabled with Easter Ave, what is the fabric you are doing it on? The yellow is so pretty, and really makes the blue in the bunny pop.
Sue
I'm so sorry you didn't get my email, Sue. I've emailed you again... :-) Hopefully, you'll get it this time...
ReplyDeleteThe fabby is Picture This Plus Moonglow Cashel Linen... and I just love it! I had Drema order quite a bit of it for me for various projects... it is gorgeous... and Magnolia by Lakeside Linens is very similiar... both are gorgeous! Let me know if you don't get my email and I'll try again... :-)
Wow, I love your two WIPs Lizzy. The colours are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some much needed resy {{{hugs}}}
