The Plot Thickens...

Juls and Cheryl tagged me last week sometime... Yes, I know, I procrastinate... ;-)
Here are the rules as they explain them in their blogs...

Five Questions and Five Things...
For the first part... Five Questions: My dear readers may ask me five questions -- either in comments or feel free to email them if you'd prefer. I'll answer them in my blog as soon as time allows.

For the second part: five things about me: Here are the rules:
1 Get Tagged
2 List five things that have not been revealed about myself in my blog
3 Tag five others...

So... hmmmm Five things I have not revealed about myself in my blog... Where do I begin?

1... I love Star Trek! LOL The Original Series... and Spock is my fave character on the show... also love ST; The Next Generation, and Voyager... Deep Space Nine is cool as well... I do not particularly care for the newest one... Enterprise... So there you have it... I am a Trekkie... or Trekker as some folks prefer... I love most Sci-Fi .... And I absolutely Love Star Wars! Anakin Skywalker {aka Darth Vadar} and Padme.... sigh... Such a tragic love story... Oh, and I cannot leave out my great love of Fantasy Films... The Lord of the Rings Trilogy being my all time fave... I also love films that take place in days of yore... i.e. anything before the 20th century... or anything based on ancient myth and lore... However, there are some 20th century based films I adore... I suppose it depends on the plot, setting et cetera... And I never can resist a great Mystery... ;-)

2... Pizza is one of my fave foods... veggie lovers or cheese lovers... and I prefer Deep Dish 'cause I love bread! lol I also love Honey... I could eat honey all day... It's especially delicious on biscuits or homemade bread... Yummy! And it makes an ever so Divine midnight snack! ;-) When I was expecting Brandy, I ate about a quart jar of honey every two weeks! lol Needless to say, she has always had a sweet tooth, but amazingly enough, she does not like honey... hmmm... and for the life of me, I cannot fathom why... ;-) Oh, and I love coffee... I know I've already mentioned my love of the savoury dark brew, however, I just couldn't resist... Which reminds me... speaking of pregnancies and food, I may as well throw in this tid-bit about coffee... I always knew very early along that I was *in the family way* ... I mean early on... before I was *late* so to speak... ;-) I didn't need one of the *Home Pregnancy Test* thingies as it never failed but when I strolled into the kitchen and the smell of freshly brewed java turned my stomach, I knew without a doubt what ailed me! Oh Horrors! I could not drink coffee for nine months... Talk about major caffeine withdrawal! lol

3... I'm sitting here listening to James Blunt... racking my brain trying to think of something about myself that won't bore you to tears... Hmmmm well, I always wanted to write... I have a couple of unfinished novels stashed away in my desk drawer, perhaps if my Muse blesses me with her presence yet again I'll heed her whispers... only time will tell... And I wrote book reviews for a magazine about 10 years ... needless to say I love to read which I daresay I have already mentioned... ;-) Oh, yes and I was a journalist at the local newspaper for a wee while before I moved to Scotland...

4... And I don't think I've mentioned I lived in Scotland for 2 years... long story of which I shall not go into at this time... Since I was a little girl I always dreamed of living in Scotland and I knew I would live there one day in this lifetime... Needless to say, whenever I dared share this dream with my friends, et cetera they thought it was quite a lark... assuming I was away with the faeries yet again... Suffice it to say... for a wee while, I lived the dream... and it is a beautiful country... everything I always knew it would be and if circumstances had been different... who knows? I guess I was too old for such a change... my roots entangled far too deep here in the South... and I could not continue to live 6000 miles away from my kids! It was breaking my heart...

5... Ahhhh... the plot thickens... Speaking of hearts... I do not think I mentioned I have three children... My eldest son, Elisha is 26... My daughter, Brandy will be 24 this month and my youngest son, Wee Jamie is 21...

I'm sorry, I tend to ramble... as you can see from my posts above... and if you're read my blog before... I'm sure you've probably long since deduced that fact... lol It would appear I have confused *things* with *themes*... as almost all of my *things* turned into rambling *themes* about me... I do applaud your loyalty and patience if you are still reading... :-)

***Edited Sunday Morning... Fiddle dee dee... How could I be so absent minded??? I forgot to tag five people... So, let me do it now, lest I forget why I am editing this post... Heidi ... Paula ...Carolyn ... Sue ... and Sue ... I don't think any of you have been tagged yet... ;-) Hopefully, I haven't forgotten anything else... I await your five questions and promise to answer as best I can...***

Thank you all for your get well wishes... :-) You are all so sweet and your kind and thoughtful words help brighten my days... I've been a wee bit down and just not myself for awhile... my headache is still coming and going... and I haven't stitched much at all this week... Hopefully, I'll have a finish to show you all tomorrow. :-)

Until next time... Love in stitches...

I am thankful for precious moments... my children and my friends...

  3. Hmmm I share your taste in movies and pizza, and when I was much younger I visited Scotland and loved it. I'd like to go back sometime again now that I'm older and would appreciate and remember it more.

I haven't been tagged for this one (the one I got tagged on earlier was the 5 weird things), so I'll think about what I can write and post on it a little later. Also, I'll have to think on a question to ask you. :)

Hope your headaches leave soon so you can feel better and stay that way. Since you're the one that got me hooked on the Chocolate Shoppe, you need to feel better so you can stitch it with me, LOL. I peeked back at your earlier entry, and it appears I picked the same fabric to do mine on that you have without being aware of it. It is looking so cute, thanks for enabling me, LOL.

  5. I like your list. I had the same thing with my second pregnancy about the coffee except for the life of me I couldn't think why it made me sick to even think about it. I was busy with school and work until I realized on day that flow had yet to come, I was 7 weeks pg before I realized it! LOL I was having some serious blond moments. :o) Okay I did a list before but I'll go do another one.

  6. Okay questions...1.Did you read The Lord of The Rings Trilogy? 2.And how many times? 3.And who was your favorite character in the trilogy?

    4. Who is your favorite cross stitch designer?

And I also love how you ramble!

  7. Ramling's good. We ramblers get a bad press I think. lol.

When I was expecting my son, I lived on cheetos and ice cubes, heheh. When I was carrying my daughter though, I don't remember having any cravings but I took a violent dislike to coffee (which hasn't left me since) and the fumes from petrol (gasoline) made me heave. That was pleasant to watch whenever I went to fill the tank at the station, lol!

  8. I love your list Lizzy! I went of coffee when I was pregnant with my youngest and I've hardly touched it since. It just turns my stomach. None of us in my house are coffee drinkers!
Hope you are doing OK. You have been very quiet these past few days.
