Peeking out of my pumpkin shell...

Blessed Autumn Equinox my dear friends... It's been a long, long while I know and I hope you all are well and happily stitching... I wanted to peek out of my pumpkin shell and let you all know I am feeling better and I hope to be blogging a lot more often...

Thank you so much to all of you who have thought of me and sent me messages, emails and kind and loving thoughts... Though I may not have always answered right away... your thoughtfulness was ever a balm to my wounded heart and soul and I know that hearts and souls as special as yours shall ever be blessed with a bountiful Harvest...

I have a few stitching finishes... a few WIPs... as well as a few other pics to share... My dear daughter, Brandy married her Soulmate on the 14th of June... It was a fairytale wedding and she was a Beautiful Bride...

Oh, lets see... I did move into my new home back in March and I'm still settling in so to speak... Living alone is quite an adjustment for me... well, not entirely alone as Gandalf the Grey and Shelley, my beloved cats are such wonderful companions... I'd truly be lost without their love and companionship... and they seem to be settling in beautifully...

So without further ado... I'll let my photos speak for me tonight... There are too many to post in one post... so I'll post a few along here and there...

  11. WooHoo, you're back, I've missed you. It's great to see you. Glad that you're all moved, although it does take a bit to settle all in. Hopefully the remaining moving and resettling issues are done with soon. That's great that Gandolf and Shelly are there to help and comfort, pets are such wonderful additions to our lives. Thank you so much for your sweet comment on Midnight, she'll be missed. At 14, she's been part of my life a long time, but I know I made the right choice.

    That's wonderful Brandy's wedding went well, what lovely pictures. Your stitching looks great too, you've been busy. The little house piece was my favorite, the little snowman is so cute. Looking forward to your next update. {{hugs}}

  21. Dear Lizzy, I'm so very pleased to meet you also. I'm glad you enjoyed my blog and I must say, yours is also truly a delight. It seems as though you've had a "trying" year and I hope life is kind to you now and stays that way. Your family is lovely and they appear to be a great source of comfort and pride for you. Your stitching is exquisite and it appears we have the same taste, especially in fabbies and threads, lol. I look forward to reading more so don't stay away!

  23. Dear Lizzy,
    I wanted to thank you for your kindest words of comfort on my blog about Sirius. I am very touched and you have lifted my spirits: your kindness and care have gone straight to my heart.
    Thank you so much.
    I see that you and I have had some hard time lately, and I wish I'd been there to send comforting thoughts to you...
    I'm very very glad that you're back on the web and will follow your posting eagerly.
    We have many common tastes in cross stitch... You do amazing stitching. I think that pain inspires the most beautiful pieces somehow... Something positive to come up with...
    Love,
    Lili

  24. Hi Lizzy, welcome back. I don't know you but I have dropped in a few times and I love your work. I worried about you too, as it had been so long since you last posted. Your blog title drew me in, as I love fairies and anything related to them. I also see that we have a bit in common with books and movies. I am glad you are feeling better.
