Woooo Hoooo!!! :-) Oh, Joy... Rapture... Finally it is finished... I don't know why, but it seems to have taken me forever to stitch this... Well, I guess I do know why... I just have not been stitching as much as I usually do, and hopefully, that has passed 'cause I am anxious to start The Chocolate Shoppe by LHN and Easter Avenue by Glendon Place... and I must get back to New Snow as well... :-) Oh, my... so many projects... so little time!
Thanks for signing up for my PIF, Michele... I'll email you as I need your snail mail addy and likes and dislikes, et cetera... :-)
Thanks for asking the fifth question, Monique... :-) And dear Juls... please don't fret about asking me four questions... That's perfectly alright, my dear! :-) I'll try and get to the question thingy in the next day or two... And in the interim, if anyone would like to ask any more questions... may as well, go ahead now! lol
Sue, I plan on starting The Chocolate Shoppe tomorrow... ;-) Hopefully, I'll catch up with the rest of you all soon... Yours and Sally's is looking so lovely... I'm also going to start Easter Avenue tomorrow... lol Yes, I know... Starting two new projects in one day??? What can I say... I'm feeling a wee bit adventurous! ;-) I'm also thinking of stitching CCN's Geranium House on Vintage Autumn Blush :-) Or perhaps Vintage Country Mocha... I haven't made up my mind yet... My chart and threads should be here tomorrow so, I'll have to do a floss toss and try and make a decision... which is not my strong point, mind you! lol I'll be starting it on the Spring Equinox with the LHN/CCN group... I imagine you are as well... :-) Sally, will you be stitching this one as well?
Well, I'm off to bed soon... I did not get as much accomplished while I was off as I intended... tsk... tsk... tsk... the best laid plans of mice and women... ;-) I did manage to watch some movies... The Prestige is fabulous... I've watched it three times in the past two days! lol And I also watched Merlin's Apprentice... loved that one as well! And I read some on Eldest... Sadly, I have not had as much reading time as I would like and I really want to finish this one soon... :-)
Oh, and before I forget... Could someone please explain to me how to fix the link on the piccys I upload into my posts so that they will be the full size photo... I've tried everything I can think of... I went into the Edit HTML and copied the URL and pasted it as the link for the piccy... but it refuses to cooperate... when you click on the photo it just goes to a page with another photo the same size as the one in my blog... Argghhhh
Thank you all for visiting... Your kind and lovely thoughts are an inspiration and bring sunshine to my days... :-)
Tootles for now... Love In Stitches...
I am thankful for precious moments... snoopy happy dances and new beginnings...
Good for you on the happy dance, Hope you have lots more. Thanks for the belated Birtday comment.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! Thank you for your lovely comments :)
ReplyDeleteAs for your photo link question, it depends on what service you are using to host your pictures: Blogger, or seomthing else?
I like this little guy a lot. Congrats on the happy dance!
ReplyDeleteThat turned out so nice...I'll be anxious to see the finish on it.
ReplyDeleteWinter looks lovely Lizzy! Congratulations on your HD!
ReplyDeleteI didn't stitch on Chocolate Shoppe again this week. Explanation in my blog but I'll give you a clue! I was given some money to buy stash with! Lol!
I won't be joining in with the LHN Geranium House SAL. I have too much on the go at the moment!
What a great finish! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your finish of Winter, very pretty. You are going to be very busy with three new starts. You'll love Chocolate Shoppe, and it does go fairly quickly.
ReplyDeleteEaster Avenue is adorable. I hadn't seen that one before, the little squirrel and bird on the sign post are adorable. I haven't decided yet on if I'll do the Geranium House in the SAL or not. I'm really tempted, but not sure if I can keep up if add another project. If I just do it on my own there won't be as much pressure if I want to switch onto something else midway.
Unfortunately can't help on the picture question as don't know how it works. Sometimes mine enlarge, sometimes they don't, and sometimes when you click on them nothing happens, and I pretty much load them all the same way.
Sue
Very, very pretty finish. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteYour ornament is wonderful! Congrats on a great finish.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish! It's lovely! Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours is awesome!
ReplyDeleteGreat finish - I love the way you signed it with the little bird. :)
ReplyDeleteI can help you with your photo question if you're using Photobucket to host your pictures. I'm not sure about FlikR and the others, though.
Hi Lizzy . Great finish. Love Chocholate Shoppe. I have started 3 things this week lol. I upload my photos onto webshots first and then you can choose the pixel size you want before you copy and paste the URL. Have a great stitching week.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies for all the lovely comments! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for the tips about uploading piccys... I upload mine from my computer. Then I go into the HTML version of my post and copy and paste the URL and make a link to my photo... but it's always the same size as the photo in my post when you click on it and it opens to a new page... So, what am I doing wrong? :-) I'm going to try and upload something from webshots or photobucket and see what happens... but I don't want the link to take you to webshots or photobucket... I'd rather it stay in my blog if that make's any sense. lol
Congrats on your ornie finish. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, it’s really nice :D You have some great things you are working on. I read Eldest a few months ago, it was so good! I loved it. I have The Prestige coming to watch, I can’t wait!
