Wherefore art thou my Happy Dance...
Thank you all for thinking of me... :-) Your kind and loving words, like golden rays of sunshine, filter through the gloomy clouds and brighten my days...
I'm so behind with blogging, emails and my stitching... I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever catch up! I finished my three day weekend today and I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday! Wooo Hoooo!!! So, maybe I can begin to make some progress with catching up! Much to my dismay, I still have not finished my Prairie Schooler Winter Ornament... however, I did scan it tonight so I could show you all my *progress*... ;-) I wasn't going to stitch in the background on the sky, however once I had stitched the falling snowflakes... I didn't like the look of it without the sky... so, I decided to go ahead and stitch it. I really wish I had chosen a darker fabby... Alas, it will have to do as is... I'm stitching it on 32ct Lambswool Linen with DMC threads... Hopefully, I will finish it tomorrow so I can move on to something else. :-)
On another note... I still have one slot open on my PIF's... If anyone is interested, please email me... See Post Pay If Forward for further info...
Also, Juls has asked four of the five questions on my Five Question thingy... See The Plot Thickens Post... So if anyone wants to ask the fifth question, please fire away... ;-)
I'm going to try and catch up with everyone's blog in the next couple of days... and hopefully, I'll be feeling much better and have some new stitching progress piccys... and a Snoopy Happy Dance to boot... :-) I feel like I'm forgetting something... but I can not think what it is at the moment... Oh well, perhaps it will come to me tomorrow and I'll jot it down, so I won't forget it again... lol
Thank you all for visiting... your kind and loving thoughts bring sunshine and smiles to my days... :-)
Tootles for now... Love in Stitches...
I am thankful for precious moments... dear friends and days off...

Wishing you much love and joy, glad tidings and good cheer, a cosy warm hearth and blessings abounding... and many a heartfelt hour of peaceful stitching thyme my dear friends... Thank you ever so kindly for your continued visits, kind words of encouragement and lovely wishes and thoughts... akin to the first stars twinkling in the gloaming... they are ever beacons through the mist...
Like the progress you are making. Hope you get your happy dance soon.

ReplyDeleteYour PS ornament looks lovely! It took me longer then I thought it would too.
ReplyDeleteWinter is looking so pretty, and I think it looks fine on the fabric you selected.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned how much you love the country mocha, and that you also like the autumn blush. It is really funny, as not only did we pick the same fabric for Chocolate Shoppe, but I bought a large piece of the autumn blush as well as thought it was so pretty. I'm thinking of doing the Dog and Kitty sampler by LHN on it. Or, Geranium house would be a possibility as well. As to stitching 3, you might not be to far off, DM is already hinting. So far DD hasn't seen it, but as a fellow chocolate addict, it is certainly a possibility, LOL. So..when are you going to start your chocolate shoppe?
Sue
